Loan Support Specialist- Centralized Flood Compliance

About the Role Manage centralized flood compliance reviews and ensure adherence to federal flood insurance regulations and internal risk management policies. Evaluate properties used as loan collateral to determine applicable flood zone requirements and establish appropriate flood insurance obligations. Perform cross‑collateral loan reviews to ensure flood requirements are consistently applied across related loan relationships. Conduct general loan servicing activities, including loan maintenance, payment processing, data entry, document creation, lien perfection, escrow/tax support, flood review and general ledger reconciliation. Process complex consumer, small business, SBA and commercial/business loan products, ensuring all required documentation and regulatory compliance. Provide timely service and responses to internal and external customers, communicating work status and redistributing incomplete work when necessary. Serve as a Loan Servicing subject‑matter expert, assisting others in understanding processes, procedures, and policies. Participate in cross‑department project teams and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow. Maintain knowledge of regulatory changes and complete required annual or job‑specific training. About You High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred). 4-7 years of advanced consumer, SBA, or commercial/business loan servicing experience (required). Demonstrated working knowledge of consumer, SBA and commercial/business loan regulations, policies and procedures. Advanced skills in loan servicing systems, Word, Excel, and other office software. Excellent analytical, multi‑tasking, problem‑solving, math and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment and adapt to frequent workflow changes. Ability to work fully onsite at this location. Compensation Pay range: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour. Compensation will be determined by experience, knowledge, skills, education and geographic location. Eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation.
