Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, developing a clear understanding of their unique challenges.

• Create and implement customized treatment plans that align with individual client goals, preferences, and needs, ensuring that each client feels heard and supported.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address clients' challenges effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques to empower them in the healing process.

• Monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and enhance treatment outcomes.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development opportunities to maintain knowledge of the latest research and best practices in mental health.

• Champion client advocacy, working to combat mental health stigma and ensuring that clients' voices are heard in their treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your practice will be on clients experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will work with diverse populations, including underserved groups such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, providing them with the critical support and resources they need to overcome obstacles and achieve stability.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n
