You’ll be part of a supportive team that helps new hires feel welcome, ensures smooth HR operations, and makes a real impact on the employee experience.This role is a great opportunity to learn HR systems, build professional skills, and grow within a company that values people and development.What You’ll DoSupport New Hires & OnboardingWork closely with Talent Acquisition to prepare for new hiresSchedule and run new hire orientations — be the friendly face that welcomes them!Make sure employee records are accurate in WorkdayCoordinate first-day logistics (laptops, badges, desk setup)Communicate with new hires so they know what to expectHelp with OffboardingPrepare paperwork for employees leaving the companyUpdate employee status in WorkdayAssist with unemployment forms and inquiriesLearn HR Programs (FMLA, Disability, Fit for Duty, etc.)Help review employee leave requests and gather documentationLearn how to maintain accurate leave recordsAssist in coordinating communication between employees, managers, and HRSupport the return-to-work process — helping employees transition back smoothlyKeep sensitive employee information secure and confidentialBe the Go-To HR ResourceAnswer routine employee questions about HR policiesHelp ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulationsProvide general administrative support to the HR teamWhat We’re Looking ForEducation: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferredExperience: Internship or campus work experience a plus — we’ll train you!Skills:Organized and detail-orientedStrong communicator and team playerComfortable using Microsoft Office; experience with Workday or other HR systems is a bonusMindset: Curious, eager to learn, and able to handle confidential information responsiblyWhy You’ll Love This RoleYou’ll get hands-on experience in multiple areas of HRWork with a team that will mentor and support your growthBuild skills that can help you advance into your HR career.Join a company culture that values people, teamwork, and developmentKokosing is an equal employment opportunity/affirmative action federal and state contractor.
