About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Supply Chain and Manufacturing Engineering to lead the development of general-purpose robotic intelligence. This key role is focused on engineering leadership, mechanical engineering, and operations and strategy, with a strong emphasis on building and optimizing the supply chain and manufacturing processes for robotic systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of 50, driving the technical and operational aspects of the supply chain, and ensuring that the manufacturing engineering processes align with the company's goals in AI, robotics, and software development. Applicants for the Head of Supply Chain and Manufacturing Engineering position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a related field. The role requires a deep understanding of the tech stack used in AI, robotics, and software development, as well as a proven track record in leading and managing large teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering and a strong focus on operations and strategy. Experience in the industry is essential, and a background in building general-purpose robotic intelligence is a significant advantage. The role is remote, but candidates from the South Bay Area or Chicago are preferred.
