About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Program Management to play a pivotal role in the advancement of its clinical-stage oncology programs. The successful candidate will be the operational backbone of the pipeline, with a primary focus on a multi-node PI3K/AKT/mTOR inhibitor program. This role demands a highly self-motivated individual with a strong scientific foundation and a proven track record in biotech or pharma drug development, particularly in oncology. The VP will be responsible for owning the integrated program plan, keeping leadership ahead of the program, running the decision-making machinery, and managing program budgets and resources. They must be genuinely AI-native, using AI tools extensively to enhance operational efficiency, and be adept at leading through influence, not authority. Applicants should have at least 10 years' experience in biotech or pharma drug development, with a significant background in program or portfolio management. Direct experience in taking a program through late-stage development and to approval or commercialization is essential, with a preference for those with a background in oncology and familiarity with small-molecule and/or PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway programs. The role requires a deep, hands-on command of the integrated drug-development process and the ability to influence senior executives without direct authority. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong bias toward execution, possess exceptional communication and presentation skills, and have experience in supporting business or corporate development. They should thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment and be committed to the mission of the company.
