Skilled Trades Recruiter

We are seeking a Regional Craftworker Recruiter to support the attraction, engagement, and hiring of skilled trades professionals across the Hampton Roads, Norfolk, and Richmond regions. This role is responsible for building strong talent pipelines, developing community partnerships, attending industry events, and collaborating with operations teams to fulfill workforce needs. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated recruiter who enjoys networking, field recruiting, and connecting skilled candidates with career opportunities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience Proven experience in candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines Preferred Qualifications Recruiting experience within construction, skilled trades, manufacturing, or industrial sectors Familiarity with labor markets in Hampton Roads, Norfolk, and Richmond Experience partnering with trade schools, workforce development agencies, military transition programs, and community organizations Knowledge of offer negotiations and pre-employment processes Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies Key Responsibilities Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified craft and field personnel Establish and maintain relationships with trade schools, workforce development organizations, military transition programs, and community partners Source, screen, and evaluate candidates for skilled craft positions Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and fit Manage candidate pipelines and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process Coordinate offer discussions, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding activities Monitor labor market trends, workforce availability, and competitor hiring activities Represent the company at hiring events, career fairs, trade shows, and networking opportunities Collaborate closely with operations leadership to understand hiring needs and workforce planning requirements Provide recruiting support to other regions as business demands evolve #J-18808-Ljbffr
