Location: Remote (Eastern Time Zone Preferred) - supporting Richmond/Ashland, VA operations

Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours

Pay: DOE


Job Summary


Performance Food Group is seeking an experienced Recruiter to support high-volume hiring efforts for warehouse, transportation, and operations positions. This remote contract role partners with hiring managers and HR teams to source, screen, and hire qualified candidates while delivering a positive candidate experience. The Recruiter will manage multiple requisitions, maintain recruiting metrics, and support workforce planning initiatives.


Essential Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for warehouse, driver, and operational positions.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
• Screen resumes and conduct candidate interviews.
• Coordinate interviews and communicate with hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain applicant tracking system records and ensure recruiting compliance.
• Develop candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Track recruiting activity, hiring metrics, and staffing reports.
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers and provide recruiting support across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of recruiting experience; staffing agency or high-volume recruiting experience preferred.
• Experience recruiting for warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, or distribution roles.
• Strong communication, organization, and interviewing skills.
• Proficiency with ATS platforms, Microsoft Office, and online sourcing tools.
• Ability to manage multiple openings in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

• High-volume recruiting environment.
• Multi-location recruiting support.
• Distribution, foodservice, logistics, or transportation industry experience.
• Experience working remotely with hiring managers across multiple sites.
