Senior Accountant

Job Overview Senior Accountant – responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting, supporting audits, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes‑Oxley. Responsibilities Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial results, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, review of monthly consolidated results, and assessment of unusual transactions. Participate in annual audits and quarterly reviews, managing timelines and deliverables with external auditors. Identify opportunities to create efficiencies through technology or process changes. Collaborate with the Global Finance Team to standardize and streamline recurring processes and data‑collection activities, establishing best practices that improve efficiency and optimize technology use. Assist in the setup and maintenance of processes, procedures and controls that properly capture, track and report financial results in accordance with Sarbanes‑Oxley, U.S. GAAP and company policies. Provide support for footnotes disclosure for financial reporting purposes related to applicable general ledger accounts. Drive continuous improvement in processes and systems to deliver better business outcomes. Assist with projects in various capacities, from execution of tasks on larger cross‑functional projects to project management activities on smaller projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and 5+ years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3+ years of professional work experience, or equivalent experience). Previous professional work experience in finance, preferably working with (or in) a life sciences or manufacturing company or within public accounting. Ability to understand, review and explain financial results and business drivers. Creative problem‑solving and presentation skills. CPA or CA designation preferred. Focus on continuous improvement to drive transition to a “best in class” finance organization. Detail‑oriented, able to work independently to meet deadlines or as a team member. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing to all levels within the organization. Ability to work under pressure and with multiple deadlines. A sense of urgency and self‑motivation, with a personal commitment to meeting deadlines. Additional Requirements Visa sponsorship will not be provided for this position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis for any employer without restriction. Public company experience is preferred but not required. Oracle Cloud or NetSuite experience is preferred but not required. OneStream experience is a plus. Technical working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls and SEC accounting/reporting rules. Working Conditions / Schedule Onsite role in Burlington, MA (4 days/week).
