This role owns technical execution across polymer formulations, production processes, and cross-functional implementation—delivering measurable improvements in quality, consistency, and performance.The ideal candidate does not simply follow process—they interrogate it. They question assumptions, pressure-test data, and build conclusions from evidence rather than convention. Direct experience with polymer processing equipment is valued, but the core requirement is the ability to rapidly decompose complex systems, identify root causes over symptoms, and apply disciplined methodology where others see ambiguity.This is an execution-focused, highly autonomous role grounded in production realities.## Responsibilities* Lead multiple technical projects involving polymer-based products and manufacturing processes from initiation through completion.* Apply critical evaluation to material–process interactions—challenging assumptions and distinguishing signal from noise to identify true performance levers.* Develop project plans, monitor progress, and proactively manage risks and dependencies.* Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (Six Sigma, DMAIC, root cause analysis) to resolve technical issues; go beyond surface symptoms to identify systemic causes.* Design, plan, and oversee production trials; critically assess data quality and integrity before translating findings into recommendations.* Drive process control, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.* Ensure technical requirements align with customer, regulatory, and business objectives.* Coordinate prototype development, testing, validation, and launch activities.* Collaborate across R&D, manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and supply chain to implement technical solutions.* Provide rigorous technical review of assumptions, proposed changes, and data interpretations—pushing back where the evidence does not support the conclusion.## Success Metrics* Reduction in process variability and improved consistency of key products and process parameters.* Effective resolution of complex technical and quality issues through structured, evidence-based methodologies.* On-time, on-spec delivery of technical projects meeting defined performance objectives.* Implementation and sustainment of process controls and standardized practices.* Demonstrated ability to transfer critical thinking approaches and problem-solving frameworks to others.* Strong cross-functional feedback on technical leadership, clarity, and rigor.## Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related engineering discipline.* 7+ years in Engineering, R&D, Technical Program Management, Product Development, or Project Management.* Demonstrated strength in critical thinking: ability to evaluate evidence, identify flawed assumptions, and construct sound technical conclusions under uncertainty.* Experience applying structured problem-solving or continuous improvement methodologies in a manufacturing environment.* Experience with polymer formulations, plastics processing, or related materials systems preferred.* Familiarity with manufacturing equipment such as extruders, calendars, or presses.* Six Sigma certification or equivalent practical experience a plus.* Strong communication skills; ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable guidance for cross-functional audiences.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.* Must pass background check and drug screen.***Ce que nous offrons :**** Un engagement que la sécurité est notre priorité;* Des avantages sociaux, un salaire et des options de régime de retraite compétitifs;* Une croissance de carrière, une stabilité et une flexibilité d’emploi.**Fabrication responsable - protéger notre planète pour l'avenir :*** Nous utilisons de l'énergie renouvelable et un processus d'eau recyclée en boucle fermée;* Nous nous engageons à réduire les émissions de gaz à effet de serre et la consommation d'eau;* Nous sommes la seule entreprise de revêtements de sol reconnue par L’Association Asthme & Allergies.**Qui nous sommes:**Avec une histoire de 140 ans, Tarkett est un leader mondial des solutions innovantes de revêtements de sol et de surfaces sportives avec 12 000 employés et 34 sites industriels.
