Description What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory testsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondfollowing established laboratory protocols.
• Scrutinize results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Ensure thorough documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and actively participate in maintaining lab quality standards.
• Keep a clean, secure work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree coupled with readiness for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout the course of employment.
