Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis as required. Thoroughly document all procedures, provide training and guidance to new staff or students, and help ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards. Uphold a clean and safe laboratory environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines. Education A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health qualification, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire. Maintain current certification throughout tenure. Skills Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals. Able to exercise independent judgment and problem‑solve in high‑pressure scenarios. Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail, especially concerning quality control and documentation.
