Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory examinations across various disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more in accordance with established protocols.
• Interpret test results with precision, troubleshoot anomalies, and execute preventative maintenance while calibrating laboratory instruments.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for extensive testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document laboratory procedures, guide training for new personnel or students, and promote adherence to quality standards in the lab.
• Ensure a hygienic and safe workplace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain the ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Maintain your certification throughout your employment duration.
