Description - What You'll Do Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across various specialties—chemistry, hematology, immunology, among others—following established guidelines. Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. Engage in specimen collection and prepare samples for diagnostic testing as required. Meticulously document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards. Foster a safe and clean work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation protocols. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, with ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Certifications Must obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of commencement. Keep certification up to date throughout your tenure. Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem‑solving capabilities in a fast‑paced environment.
