• Training Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM through September 30
• Regular Schedule: 2nd Shift | 5:48am – 4:18pm | $19.80/hr beginning October 1
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are reserved for overtime as needed

What You'll Do

• Assemble power generators and components by aligning, securing, and installing parts according to work instructions
• Perform quality checks, audits, leak tests, torque audits, and visual inspections to ensure products meet Caterpillar standards
• Inspect materials, parts, and completed assemblies for defects and quality concerns
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshoot production issues, and communicate process updates to leadership
• Follow standard operating procedures, safety requirements, training expectations, and perform additional duties as assigned
• Operate pallet jacks and cart caddies to safely transport generators for station to station

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 months of manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or related experience, or an industry certification
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and dependability
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience
• Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or Standard Work instructions
• Experience working in a safety-focused environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach for 10-12 hour shifts
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to install and identify small components accurately while performing wiring tasks
• Must be able to frequently climb up and down ladders throughout the workday
• Must be comfortable working on elevated platforms above ground level
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
