Bakery Associate

Love Creamery is an independent artisan ice cream company creating locavore ice creams and sorbets with organic and natural ingredients sourced from our greater Minnesota and Wisconsin region whenever possible. This is a hands‑on, high‑volume bakery production role for someone who loves working with quality ingredients, takes pride in consistency, and enjoys being part of a collaborative, food‑loving team. On a typical day, you might be baking with music or a podcast playing, helping the ice cream team prepare for seasonal launches, and getting early tastes of new flavors before they hit the scoop case. What You’ll Do As a Bakery Associate, you will support daily kitchen and bakery production while helping maintain Love Creamery’s standards for quality, food safety, and organization. Responsibilities Preparing baked goods, toppings, sauces, inclusions, and other house‑made ingredients for ice cream production Accurately following recipes and scaling batches based on production needs Consistently producing fresh, high‑quality bakery items and ingredients Tasting finished products to evaluate flavor, texture, and quality Properly labeling, dating, packaging, and storing finished goods and ingredients Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment Following all health, safety, sanitation, hygiene, and allergen‑control procedures Completing production logs and daily cleaning tasks with attention to detail Assisting with inventory, production planning, and ingredient ordering as needed Supporting and training team members once proficient Communicating clearly and respectfully with team members across departments and locations Helping problem‑solve production, equipment, staffing, and kitchen‑related issues Cross‑training to assist at the ice cream counter during slower seasons or when needed What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is dependable, detail‑oriented, and excited about making high‑quality food in a team environment. Starting wage of $15 Pay range for this role is $15-$18 , with incremental merit‑based raises and ability to move into other roles with higher pay Consistent scheduling , posted two weeks at a time, with the ability to trade shifts Immediate access to Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) Front loaded PTO after 12 consecutive months of employment, with an average of 25 hours worked per week Generous matching 401(k) after 12 months of employment.
