Job Summary The Executive Chef leads all culinary activities at CHS Field – setting menu standards, training team members, and representing Levy on social media. A central part of the guest experience, the chef is the visionary behind the food, driving operational performance and execution with commercial acumen and coaching skill. Detailed Responsibilities Proactively coach and motivate team members to deliver their best. Identify opportunities and drive improvements in food and financial performance. Oversee all aspects of a safe and sanitary culinary department. Work closely with purchasing and finance teams to develop an offering that delivers financially and delights guests. Build and develop the on‑site culinary team. Collaborate with regional and Home Office culinary teams to continually evolve the food experience. Support revenue efforts by participating in social media activities. Oversee equipment maintenance routines. Ensure the creation of appropriate par levels in line with sales forecasts. Create and distribute team schedules in line with revenue forecasts. Oversee menu design and updates in line with food trends, internal data, cost of goods, and popularity. Create menu build diagrams. Maintain recipe specifications, partnering with purchasing to update based on product availability and pricing. Oversee routine kitchen management procedures – opening and closing checklists, cleaning schedules, temperature checks, waste sheets, and pest control. Create customized group sales/event menus with sales teams. Set standards for chef table setups. Create prep sheets and line layout diagrams to ensure consistent and efficient food production. Deliver training and coaching on menu and culinary skills. Manage team member breaks to ensure well‑being. Attend location management meetings to collaborate with other departments. Deliver pre‑shift meetings to set the tone for events. Conduct progressive discipline to address performance issues. Complete onboarding and orientation for new culinary staff. Ensure all food ordering, delivery, prep, transportation, and service meet Levy’s sanitation and safety core signatures. Respond to emails, phone calls, and other communication promptly. Ensure calorific analysis of all menu items aligns with FDA guidelines. Partner with purchasing and operations to prevent product loss. Collaborate on community outreach programs with other departments and regional team. Manage support travel for team members to other locations. Manage culinary department budget. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements 5+ years of leadership experience in a culinary leadership position. Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products. Preferred culinary degree. High level of computer literacy. Understanding of financial concepts. Passion for hospitality, food, and retail. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
