Job Summary:

Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a setting that champions best practices and exceptional customer service. This role emphasizes relationship-based care and upholds the highest professional nursing standards. Nursing care is guided by the ANA Code of Ethics, relevant state nursing practice acts, the nursing process, and regulatory standards. Acute care departments include Medical, Surgical, Emergency, Intensive Care, Childbirth, Pediatric, Operating Room, Perianesthesia, Endoscopy/GI, and Cardiac Cath Lab units.

Essential Responsibilities:

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program, or
• For graduates from non-accredited programs, a minimum of five years of acute care nursing experience is required, or an advanced degree from an accredited institution.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is acceptable in lieu of BSN.
• Area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications must be obtained upon hire and maintained.

Licensure:

Current active Registered Nurse license as required by the state nursing board.

Work Shift:

Evening shift from 6:00pm to 6:00am, 36 hours per week.

This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
