Base Pay $10.98 - $25.00 / Hour Employee Type Part-Time Non-Exempt Description Responsible for setting up all the needed items in a banquet room for all functions per BMC standards. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Cleans and sets up all function rooms to customer specifications Moves all equipment necessary for the set up of the event to the venue Sets up all the hardware require for the event according to the BEO specifications Ensures that all audio/visual equipment is set up and functioning properly Returns electrical and audio visual equipment to proper storage area Vacuums carpet, dusts walls and dividers, mops service area when needed Maintains a clean storage facility at all times Ensures after each event the area is clean and equipment is returned to storage Returns soiled linen to the Housekeeping Department Completes other tasks as assigned Teamwork Refers to the ability to bring about, cause or influence a joint action by a number of people to achieve a desired result.Understands others quickly and can find common ground. Flexibility Refers to the ability to change according to circumstances or be persuaded or influenced to change Experience and Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Physical Demands: To perform the essential job functions in this position it may require rigorous activity; grasping, writing, pushing, pulling, standing for long periods, walking, bending, stretching, repetitive motions, hearing, visual acuity, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 30/40 pounds. Must be able to walk up and down stairs while carrying heavy items. This associate must be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time. The individual may frequently work in an outdoor climate. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
