Works in rehab gym, managing equipment, assisting therapists and performing clerical duties. This is the pay range that RightSourcing (a part of Magnit) reasonably expects to pay someone for this position, however, as a supplier your expected pay range may vary and/or include certain benefits like: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K [include any compulsory benefits such as commissions, incentive bonuses, etc. if applicable]. Pay range: (USD)15.00 hrly -(USD)21.00 hrly
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Function as a rehabilitation technician in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department
Assists in preparation of equipment, i.e. hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin baths and hot packs, in an appropriate manner as directed by the therapist.
Assists therapist as directed, including positioning patients, in, at or on equipment, devices or treatment tables.
Assists therapist in the adjustment of canes, wheelchairs or other assistive devices.
Escorts patients to and from treatment or activity areas.
Maintains work area in a safe, clean manner.
Obtains equipment materials and supplies from storage areas and positions them appropriately for use.
Maintain equipment/cleaning logs
Adheres to hospital infection control procedures.
Manages equipment inventory.
All other duties as required by the dept.
