Service Manager

A rapidly growing, private‑equity‑backed home services provider is expanding its leadership team and looking for a new Service Manager in Marietta and Norcross. This organization delivers residential and commercial services across multiple recurring service verticals—including lawn care, pest control, tree care, lighting, and related offerings. They are $200M+ in revenue, ~2k employees, with 50+ branches across the U.S. and Canada. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for managing technicians, overseeing daily operations, ensuring service quality, developing employees, and driving productivity and profitability within the branch. The role reports to the Branch Manager, and will work closely with the Regional Director of Operations. Lead and Develop Teams Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop field technicians Build a culture of accountability, safety, and customer service Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback Ensure appropriate staffing levels to support seasonal demand Manage Operations Oversee routing, scheduling, workforce planning, and daily production Monitor quality standards and customer satisfaction Conduct field audits and site inspections Resolve customer concerns and service issues Ensure equipment and company assets are properly maintained Drive Business Performance Manage labor productivity and department performance Assist with budgeting and resource planning Track KPIs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency Support branch growth and profitability initiatives What we're looking for: 3+ years of experience within lawn care, pest control, landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, home services, route‑based services, facilities services, distribution, or other field‑service organizations where leaders are responsible for people, customers, productivity, and daily execution. Direct experience managing technicians or field employees Strong daily production and execution discipline Experience with routing, scheduling, workforce planning, and capacity management Ability to manage labor, productivity, attendance, and technician performance Experience interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, and developing employees Strong safety and quality leadership Customer‑service accountability and the ability to resolve operational issues quickly Comfort using systems, data, and KPIs to manage performance Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments The potential to develop into future Branch Managers as they grow within the organization #J-18808-Ljbffr Spectrum Search Group
