Quality Inspector

Overview TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is hiring a Quality Inspector in Milwaukee, WI. This position is on 1st shift with a pay rate of $19.00/hr. Reports to: Site Supervisor / Site Leads Responsibilities The Quality Inspector acts as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria. Perform quality inspections and quality audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use. Identify and contain non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies. Rectify non-conforming material by rework, sorting, and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader. Use methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material. Determine the tools and equipment needed to complete the job. Grind, sand, clean and oil parts and/or sub-assemblies using hand tools or equipment. Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors, and the production source. Technical Qualifications Must be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies. Ability to utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
