The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across DeWitt seeking Working Supervisors who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operations workers.
- Train new employees on company procedures, safety regulations, and equipment operation.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs or facilitate larger repairs with maintenance.
- Enforce safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Maintain accurate production records, including output, waste, and downtime.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and motivate production teams.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and cross-functional collaboration.
