The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across St. Johns seeking Working Supervisors who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train production line staff.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs.
- Optimize production schedules to meet output targets.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate production records and inventory.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of production employees
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety procedures
- Experience with production scheduling and resource allocation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Demonstrated ability to train and mentor new or less experienced team members.
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) to support diverse workforces.
