Phone Repair & Refurbishment Technician - Full-Time

Pay: $20 - $23 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Position: Full-time, on-site

Tired of dealing with retail customers, sales quotas, and constant counter interruptions? This position lets you focus on what you do best: repairing devices.

We are a growing mobile-device refurbishment company that processes thousands of smartphones and tablets each month. We’re looking for an experienced technician to repair iPhones and iPads that don’t pass our quality-control testing.

This is a bench-focused production position with no retail sales, counter duties, or customer-facing responsibilities. Your focus will be completing clean, reliable repairs and returning devices to full working condition for resale.

Because we are a growing team, your work will have a visible impact. As our refurbishment operation expands, opportunities may include senior repair, quality-control, training, and team-lead responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose iPhones and iPads that fail functional or quality-control testing
• Replace screens, batteries, cameras, charging-port assemblies, housings, speakers, buttons, flex cables, and other components
• Complete full housing replacements and internal-component transfers
• Troubleshoot hardware and functional problems
• Perform post-repair testing to verify device functionality
• Inspect completed devices for cosmetic quality and workmanship
• Record completed repairs, parts used, and device information
• Work with the quality-control team to identify recurring device issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe repair station
• Meet productivity expectations while maintaining consistent repair quality

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of professional or high-volume iPhone repair or refurbishment experience
• Ability to independently open, diagnose, repair, reassemble, and test iPhones
• Hands-on experience replacing screens, batteries, cameras, housings, charging-port assemblies, and other internal components
• Experience completing full housing replacements and transferring internal components
• Strong hardware troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to complete clean, consistent repairs and thorough post-repair testing
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and parts management
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining repair quality
• Dependable attendance and availability Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Preferred Qualifications

• iPad or tablet repair experience
• High-volume refurbishment, depot-repair, or production experience
• PhoneCheck or similar device-testing experience
• Quality-control or quality-inspection experience
• Experience identifying liquid damage, previous repairs, missing components, and non-repairable devices
• Apple, WISE, or similar industry certification
• Microsoldering or board-level diagnostic experience is a plus but is not required
