Job Details

This is a blended accounting and FP&A role sitting at the center of a sophisticated commercial portfolio. You'll own the books, drive forecasting, and work directly with senior leadership, third-party property managers, and external auditors. What you'll do

• Own full-cycle accounting: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and period-end close
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with variance analysis
• Lead quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting in partnership with senior leadership
• Review and analyze reporting from third-party property managers and resolve discrepancies
• Advise external property managers on accounting standards and best practices
• Support onboarding of newly acquired assets into the accounting system
• Perform lease analyses, net rent calculations, and property-level financial evaluations
• Support joint venture and construction audits alongside external auditors
• Maintain J-SOX internal controls and documentation
• Prepare documentation for corporate income and property tax filings including TC-201
• Administer and optimize the Yardi platform
• Stay current on US GAAP developments relevant to commercial real estate

What you bring BS/BA in Accounting Active CPA or CPA in progress 4+ years of accounting experience with real estate exposure Public accounting background strongly preferred Yardi experience a plus Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
