Summary Description: The account manager (AM) is responsible for managing client accounts, building relationships and acts as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts. The AM is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and works to resolve issues through to complete resolution ensuring client satisfaction and ultimately client retention and loyalty. Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Build and maintain positive relationships with account contacts ensuring long-term retention and loyalty. Identify growth opportunities through upselling or cross-selling additional services to existing accounts. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that client expectations are met, and deliverables are aligned to address client goals. Collaborate with internal teams to design and execute unique solutions to resolve client issues through to completion and ensuring client satisfaction at every stage. Conduct well-prepared meetings with decision makers; get results by asking appropriate questions that qualify business and take advantage of opportunities to create value and assist clients in addressing issues they are facing. Conduct market research and stay informed of market dynamics, competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks. Create proposals and presentations tailored to specific clients and specific opportunities. Update client relationship management software daily to document business development activity that meets or exceeds established metrics while also maintaining accurate probability for each opportunity in the pipeline. Actively participate in company meetings including regular pipeline reviews, sales team meetings and company training sessions. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Minimum of 3 years customer service experience. Minimum 5 years landscaping experience. Must have a valid Driver’s License and maintain a clean driving record. Level Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, horticulture or other related field, or 4 years of customer service experience in the horticulture industry Strong customer service and interpersonal skills , Valid driver’s license and a driving record that allows the employee to be covered by the company’s insurance company Adept at using Microsoft Office365 and online sales tracking tools Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills Comfortable working in a highly digitized and electronic environment Ability to communicate effectively English, both verbal and written Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Benefits for Full Time Eligible Include: Medical with contribution coverages on our health program as defined by plan Dental as defined by plan Vision as defined by plan 401K as defined by plan Paid Holidays as defined by company policy Personal Time Off (PTO) based on the accrual allotment as defined by the company policy Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. Varied Field Environment performing outdoor work with moderate to occasional loud noise.
