AR / Medical Billing Specialist
$21 per hourWe are seeking an detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Medical Billing Specialist for an immediate, temporary opening covering an FMLA leave for our healthcare client in Bristol CT. This is an incredible foot-in-the-door opportunity with a highly regarded healthcare leader. For the right candidate, this position has a strong potential to transition into a permanent role. You will work under the guidance of a highly supportive, hands-on A/R Leader who is dedicated to team success and seamless onboarding. shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School Responsibilities Research and Electronically submits clean claims to all commercial payors through clearinghouse, Processe paper claims that cannot be handled electronically on a weekly basis. Receives and posts checks from commercial payors. Research and applies payments to client accounts. Ensures cash payments are correctly posted in NextGen and transferred to accounting for deposit. Other responsibilities as needed Skills
