Electrical Engineer, Neuromodulation - Pelvic Health - Minneapolis, MN (On-Site)

Medtronic seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and support electrical hardware for implantable neuromodulation devices treating chronic pain and pelvic health conditions. The role involves circuit design, component qualification, testing, manufacturing support, and cross-functional collaboration in a Minneapolis-based on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze circuits to evaluate electrical function of implantable neurostimulation devices
• Identify and qualify alternate electronic components through testing and design verification
• Manage product changes, conduct impact analysis, and maintain design documentation
• Support manufacturing troubleshooting and supplier collaboration to improve yields and reduce costs
• Conduct root cause analysis on field-returned products and support regulatory submissions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience or advanced degree with no experience required
• Low power electronics design and circuit analysis skills
• Test requirement specification development and test development understanding
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
• Experience with laboratory instruments, oscilloscopes, and data acquisition tools
• PCB schematic design and layout using CAD tools
