Oracle EBS Technical Developer - Cyber Security

Salary: $75,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field; equivalent military service, technical certifications, and relevant professional experience may be considered instead.
• We need at least five years of experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12/R12.2 enterprise environments.
• We need at least five years of experience administering Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Fusion Middleware.
• We need at least three years of experience implementing and remediating STIGs, SRGs, or related Department of Defense cybersecurity controls.
• We need experience administering Oracle Linux in support of Oracle enterprise applications.
• We need experience supporting Oracle technology stack upgrades, patching, deployments, and production operations.
• We need experience working in Department of Defense, Federal Government, or similarly regulated enterprise environments.
• We require a current CompTIA Security+ certification.
• We need demonstrated experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12/R12.2, Oracle WebLogic Server administration, Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c or higher, Oracle Database administration, SQL and PL/SQL development, Oracle Linux administration, shell scripting, Oracle Identity Management, LDAP authentication, single sign-on, SSL/TLS certificate management, WebLogic security realms, Oracle Critical Patch Updates, Oracle patch management, secure coding practices, vulnerability remediation, and technical documentation development.
• We need working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, RMF, FISMA, FIPS 140-2/140-3, DISA STIGs, Security Requirements Guides, ACAS, Nessus, SCAP Compliance Checker, Security Content Automation Protocol (SCC), and Oracle security advisories.
• Preferred experience includes supporting GCSS-MC, Navy ERP, DAI, or other Oracle-based Department of Defense enterprise systems, as well as Oracle WebLogic STIGs, middleware hardening, Oracle Identity Management, Oracle Forms and Reports, BI Publisher, XML Publisher, Oracle Workflow, Oracle APIs, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle RAC, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, automated deployment tools, ATO packages, RMF accreditation, Marine Corps business processes, and Agile Scrum environments.

• We administer, configure, secure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server environments that support Oracle EBS R12.2.
• We manage WebLogic domains, clusters, managed servers, Node Manager, JDBC data sources, JMS resources, and application deployments.
• We configure SSL/TLS certificates, keystores, truststores, authentication providers, security realms, and identity integration.
• We install, configure, patch, and maintain Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c components, including applying critical patches, PSUs, and other security updates.
• We troubleshoot startup, deployment, JVM, memory, performance, authentication, and connectivity issues, and work with Oracle Support to resolve middleware problems.
• We develop deployment procedures, rollback plans, and migration documentation for production releases.
• We support enhancement, modernization, and sustainment work within Oracle EBS R12.2.
• We design, develop, modify, and maintain SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripts, interfaces, APIs, reports, workflows, and related technical components.
• We support Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, XML Publisher, Oracle Workflow, and interface development.
• We analyze technical requirements and build secure solutions that support supply, maintenance, readiness, procurement, and financial management processes.
• We review technical design documentation, architecture diagrams, and Oracle documentation to understand baseline configurations and security needs.
• We support application upgrades, technology refresh efforts, and Change Requests.
• We analyze, design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls aligned with DISA STIGs, SRGs, RMF, NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, and Department of Defense cybersecurity policies.
• We maintain cybersecurity compliance across Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Database, Oracle Linux, and Oracle EBS application environments.
• We harden WebLogic Server security settings, authentication methods, SSL/TLS configurations, JVM security parameters, and administrative controls.
• We perform vulnerability remediation and corrective actions identified through ACAS, Nessus, SCAP Compliance Checker, SCC, Oracle security advisories, and RMF assessments.
• We review and optimize security configurations across the application, middleware, database, and operating system layers.
• We support Authority to Operate activities, RMF accreditation, cybersecurity assessments, and compliance audits.
• We participate in secure code reviews and encourage secure software development practices.
• We develop cybersecurity test plans based on Product Owner acceptance criteria.
• We execute unit testing and support integration, system, release, and user acceptance testing.
• We validate WebLogic, Oracle Database, Oracle Linux, and Oracle EBS security configurations after upgrades and deployments.
• We support vulnerability scanning, remediation validation, and cybersecurity compliance testing.
• We document security findings, remediation work, residual risk, and validation outcomes.
• We collaborate with Government Product Owners, cybersecurity personnel, Oracle architects, developers, and subject matter experts to analyze requirements and create secure technical solutions.
• We review Change Requests, perform technical impact analyses, and prepare solution recommendations.
• We lead technical discussions across requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
• We prepare technical design specifications, implementation plans, deployment documentation, and rollback procedures.
• We communicate technical recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• We support production deployments, patch installations, technology stack upgrades, and release management activities.
• We troubleshoot production issues affecting Oracle EBS, WebLogic Server, Fusion Middleware, Oracle Database, and Oracle Linux environments.
• We coordinate with Oracle Support, Government stakeholders, and technical teams to resolve production incidents.
• We produce technical documentation, knowledge articles, system diagrams, and operational procedures.
• We ensure deliverables are completed accurately, professionally, and on schedule.

In this role, we help secure, modernize, and sustain Oracle EBS R12.2 and its supporting middleware while meeting Department of Defense cybersecurity requirements, and we offer the chance to work with government and industry experts on mission-critical Marine Corps enterprise logistics systems.
