Job Overview

The member service center specialist answers incoming calls from members and prospective members who have questions about their existing accounts with Partners Federal Credit Union or potential new accounts. They provide world‑class member service and use consultative sales techniques to offer additional products and services. They use various computer programs to view account information, execute transactions, and document changes to the member’s account. The role requires a focus on service in every member interaction with the goal of delivering an amazing experience and member loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming phone calls and provide world‑class service for members.
• Achieve and adhere to all contact center performance standards, goals, and objectives.
• Offer additional products and services to meet members’ needs by providing reasonable solutions and options.
• Follow Partner Federal Credit Union processes and procedures when assisting members.
• Respond to member needs promptly and professionally.

Basic Qualifications

• Hybrid schedule flexibility.
• Typing proficiency; ability to speak and write simultaneously.
• Ability to fix common computer/device problems on widely used operating systems, browsers, and platforms.
• Familiarity and comfort level working with new and emerging technology.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including phone tag skills.
• Teamwork skills.
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Adaptability to change and flexibility.

• Financial services, banking or credit union experience.
• Call center experience.
