Assistant Controller

What you’ll do
\n- \n
- Lead month-end and year-end close, including account reconciliations \n
- Prepare and review complex journal entries and technical accounting (leases, investments, fixed assets, revenue recognition), with audit-ready memos \n
- Supervise and mentor staff and senior accountants \n
- Serve as a key contact for external audit and support bank and shareholder reporting \n
- Oversee AP/AR and support accounting integration for acquired entities \n
- Build out SOPs and workflows for a scalable team, and back up the Controller \n
What you bring
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field \n
- CPA or actively pursuing \n
- 6-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervising or mentoring staff \n
- Strong GAAP knowledge, plus close, multi-entity consolidation, and reconciliation experience \n
