Required Skills: Medical degree from an accredited institution; board-certified or truly board eligible in OB/GYN Valid Ohio medical license and current DEA registration BLS and ACLS certifications Proficiency in obstetric management, including interpretation of NST & FSE, ultrasound performance, and routine delivery procedures Experience with low and high-risk pregnancies, fetal monitoring, and OB ultrasounds Ability to work independently within a collaborative team setting Strong communication and decision-making skills Ability to respond quickly in high-pressure situations Nice to Have Skills: Prior locum or hospital-based OB/GYN experience Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR Experience in managing occasional high-risk pregnancies Ability to perform obstetric ultrasounds and interpretation Preferred Education and Experience: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN clinical experience Previous experience covering on-call hospital shifts Other Requirements: Availability for coverage starting May 14, 2026, with urgent need for coverage on 06/25/2026 – 06/26/2026, and potential sporadic coverage thereafter Must reside within 30 minutes of Bellefontaine hospital while on call Willingness to travel and comply with coverage schedule This is your chance to make a difference in a community setting while enjoying competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team.
