Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and service-oriented Office Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity in Hatillo, PR. This role supports daily branch operations within the staffing and employment services industry, with a focus on applicant processing, recruiting support, client assistance, office administration, and temporary associate support. The Office Coordinator is an important part of a collaborative, fast-paced team environment where professionalism, accuracy, and excellent customer service are essential. Key Responsibilities - Greet visitors, answer incoming phone calls, route calls promptly, and provide professional support to applicants, clients, and temporary associates.- Monitor job advertisement responses, process applicants, prescreen candidates, administer evaluations, record scores, and schedule interviews.
- Enter and maintain applicant information in the office automation system while ensuring records are accurate and compliant with internal quality standards.
- Provide ongoing customer service and operational support to temporary associates, including assistance with questions and branch processes.
- Coordinate administrative office activities such as team meetings, reports, task audits, documentation, and general office procedures.
- Process weekly temporary employee payroll by the required deadline with accuracy and attention to detail. Compensation and Benefits - Job Type: Direct Hire.
- Salary Range: $27,000 to $31,000 per year.
- Location: Hatillo, PR.
- Work arrangement may include working remotely and/or from a designated company location as required, based on business, branch, division, and performance needs. Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support branch fulfillment operations, applicant processing, recruiting coordination, and office administration.- Prescreen applicants, schedule interviews, enter candidate data, and maintain accurate records.
- Process weekly temporary payroll and assist with reports, audits, and internal office procedures.
- Provide customer service to applicants, visitors, clients, temporary associates, and internal team members. -BA in Human Resources | Business Administration related field required.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred for this experience level.
- Basic computer skills and strong computer aptitude required.
- Ability to type approximately 36 WPM and perform basic computer tasks, including internet searches and creating documents.
- Effective written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with applicants, visitors, employees, and clients.
- Ability to work independently, remotely, onsite, and in a team environment as business needs require.
- Detail-oriented, flexible, dependable, and able to stay focused in a fast-paced, sales-oriented environment.
- Ability to interface with employees and contacts at all levels with professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency and minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience in staffing, recruiting, human resources, customer service, administrative support, payroll processing, or branch operations.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems, office automation systems, or candidate databases.
- Familiarity with maintaining records in accordance with quality standards, compliance procedures, or ISO-related processes.
- Bilingual communication skills may be helpful in a candidate-facing and client-facing office environment.
