JUNIOR SOUS CHEF

Junior Sous Chef
Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in the supervision of culinary activities including banquet, ala carte & production cooks, in preparing and cooking food for all events, ala carte service and banquets and club venues.
Cuisine Operations & Leadership
Assist in supervising the culinary team in the preparation, portioning, and presentation of food to ensure approved cooking methods, garnishing standards, portion sizes, quality, and consistency are maintained. The Pastry Chef is expected to actively contribute to the continued development of the Bear Lakes culinary program.
Leadership & Staff Management
Assume responsibility for kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.
Banquet & Special Event Responsibilities
The Pastry Chef will play a key role in the successful execution of Bear Lakes' banquet and special-event program.
Education and Certification Qualifications
Culinary diploma from a vocational school or culinary college, associate degree (AOS) or equivalent from two-year college, a two-year apprentice program in the USA or international at a 4/5-star property or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
