Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Fountain Valley, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will drive as needed to conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while responding to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at an automotive business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of automotive facilities, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, access points, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, vehicle-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
- Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional presence, observing site conditions, and communicating potential hazards or maintenance concerns to site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
