Remote Pharmacy Technician

Working remotely as a full-time Pharmacy Technician, the candidate will manage prior authorization requests and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely medication access for patients. Key responsibilities Process prior authorization requests for medications in accordance with established guidelines Communicate with healthcare providers and patients to gather necessary information and resolve issues Maintain accurate records of authorization requests and decisions in the pharmacy management system Required qualifications Active Pharmacy Technician license in the relevant state Experience in prior authorization processes within a pharmacy benefit management (PBM) setting Knowledge of medication therapies and insurance policies Proficiency in pharmacy management software and electronic health records High school diploma or equivalent; additional pharmacy-related education is a plus
