Senior Accountant

As the business scales, we are building out the accounting team and looking for a Senior Accountant to own core areas of the close and help strengthen our processes. Job Details

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Own revenue recognition under ASC 606, including contract review and deferred revenue schedules
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain supporting documentation
• Prepare monthly financial statements and flux analysis for leadership
• Support prepaid, accrual, stock compensation, and capitalized software schedules
• Partner with sales operations and engineering on contract, billing, and cost data
• Support the annual audit and prepare requested schedules and documentation
• Improve close processes, system workflows, and internal controls as the company scales

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting experience or a combination of public accounting and industry
• Strong understanding of GAAP, month-end close, and account reconciliation
• Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition
• Strong Excel skills and ERP or NetSuite experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
