HR Manager

Cedartown Foods is looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations across our multi-state, multi-brand restaurant business. Reporting to the HR Director, you'll serve as a trusted business partner to operations leaders while directly supervising 1-2 HR Generalists based in India. What You'll Do Lead employee relations investigations and coach leaders on performance management, corrective action, and policy interpretation Oversee onboarding/offboarding, I-9/E-Verify compliance, and unemployment claims Manage HR systems (Paylocity, Paradox, Harri, Deel, DISA, The Work Number) and drive reporting/analytics Oversee benefits administration, open enrollment, and ACA compliance Manage workers\' compensation, leave administration (FMLA, etc.), and risk management Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; lead audit and agency responses Support new restaurant openings, acquisitions, and HR system implementations Build team capability and standardize processes across a geographically dispersed HR team What You Bring Bachelor\'s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) 7+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in restaurant/hospitality/retail or another high-volume, multi-unit environment 2+ years supervising or leading HR team members preferred PHR or SHRM-CP required (SPHR/SHRM-SCP a plus) Strong employee relations, investigations, and multi-state compliance experience HRIS, benefits, workers\' comp, and leave administration experience Experience with AI tools preferred Competitive pay, career development, medical/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, PTO and holidays, and more.
