Accounting Analyst

Brown & Brown is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our growing team! The Accounting Analyst ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. How You Will Contribute Enter, balance, and post all daily cash, ACH, check, and credit card deposits. Generate and send out customer requests for information including follow‑up requests. Review and process customer files. Generate and send out customer invoices. Generate age analysis; review AR aging to ensure compliance. Follow up with customers regarding open balances, via account statements and payment reminders. Perform new customer credit checks and establish customer payment terms. Support month‑end and year‑end close process. Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
