Pride Health is hiring for a Phlebotomist to support our client's medical facility based in Delray Beach Fl 33445. This is a six month assignment with a possibility of extension and conversion into a full time opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• Has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
• Performs specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
• Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.

Education/Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.

Schedule:

Eastern Standard - 6:00 am - 3:30 pm Tuesday - Saturday Rotational Saturdays: 6:30 am to 12 pm

Pay Range:

$18 - $21.00/hr

Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
