Preventative Maintenance Technician

Preventive Maintenance MechanicWe have an immediate position open for a Preventive Maintenance Mechanic to work on our fleet of trucks in Lacey, WA. Mechanics interested in secure, steady employment are encouraged to apply.Pay and Schedule:Pay will start at $35.25/hrShift is Monday - Thursday, from 2 PM- 10:30 PM, and Friday from 12 PM- 8:30 PM.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance services and mechanical repairs on fleet vehicles and equipmentFamiliarity with Cummins, Paccar, Freightliner and International systems a plusConduct routine safety inspections to ensure compliance with company, DOT, and OSHA standardsReview and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)Complete accurate documentation using fleet maintenance software, including parts usage and labor timeCommunicate clearly with senior mechanic and/or Maintenance Manager regarding required repairs and vehicle statusMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaPerform additional maintenance related tasks as needed.
