Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health conditions and emotional well-being, utilizing a variety of diagnostic tools and techniques.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs, incorporating evidence-based practices and therapeutic methodologies.

• Provide direct therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, that promote healing and personal growth.

• Monitor clients’ progress by routinely evaluating treatment outcomes and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance effectiveness.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support, ensuring clients receive immediate assistance during critical moments.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive client records, adhering to ethical standards, confidentiality guidelines, and legal requirements.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to devise comprehensive care strategies tailored for each client.

• Engage in professional development through ongoing training, supervision sessions, and staying abreast of current mental health research and techniques.

• Uphold ethical guidelines and professional standards outlined by relevant licensing boards while delivering high-quality mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals facing complex mental health issues, including severe mental illness, psychosis, substance abuse, and various emotional challenges. Many of the clients served through our telehealth services are housed in the county jail system, providing you with the opportunity to make a significant difference in their lives. Your expertise and therapeutic interventions will directly contribute to improved mental health outcomes for these individuals.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or a Doctorate in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in California.

• Exceptional clinical assessment and diagnostic skills combined with a thorough understanding of psychotherapeutic techniques.

Preferred Experience\n

We require a minimum of three years of relevant experience in mental health counseling or a related field. Experience in a telehealth setting is preferred, as it will equip you to effectively engage and support clients remotely. Demonstrated success in working with diverse populations facing acute mental health challenges will also be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, along with bonus opportunities.
