Job Description

Our client, a prestigious New York City performing arts and cultural institution, is seeking a Sponsorship Content & Activation Associate to support the execution of high-profile corporate sponsorships, branded experiences, and live events. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of arts, entertainment, marketing, and corporate partnerships, helping bring creative sponsorship agreements to life through engaging activations and exceptional sponsor experiences.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of experience in sponsorship activation, experiential marketing, event production, or partnership management, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and build relationships with corporate sponsors. This individual is highly organized, creative, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities and schedules frequently shift.

Location: Manhattan, NYC; on-site for events and sponsorship activations

Schedule: Freelance, ASAP–August; approximately 29 hours per week, with flexibility for evenings and weekends, particularly during the summer event season

Compensation: $20/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of corporate sponsorship agreements, ensuring all contracted deliverables, branded experiences, and activations are completed successfully.

• Serve as a primary on-site liaison for corporate sponsors, providing exceptional client service and overseeing seamless execution of sponsorship activations.
\n
• Coordinate sponsor experiences across live performances, festivals, cultural programming, hospitality events, and special activations.
\n
• Collaborate with internal marketing, social media, PR, legal, programming, and operations teams to execute sponsorship deliverables, including co-branded content, marketing collateral, and promotional campaigns.
\n
• Oversee on-site event logistics, working closely with venue staff, production teams, and external partners to ensure successful activations.
\n
• Manage multiple sponsorship projects simultaneously, tracking timelines, deliverables, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
\n
• Maintain accurate sponsorship records, project trackers, and reporting using Monday.com, Tessitura, Microsoft Office, and other relevant platforms.
\n
• Proactively troubleshoot challenges during events, making real-time adjustments to optimize sponsor experiences and activation effectiveness.
\n
• Support the development and coordination of custom sponsorship experiences, including artist engagements, VIP hospitality, and branded programming.
\n
• Assist senior partnership leaders with sponsorship budgets, vendor sourcing, pricing, and expense tracking.
\n
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate sponsors and internal stakeholders, ensuring consistent communication and successful partnership delivery.

• Stay informed on emerging trends in experiential marketing, sponsorship activations, arts programming, and brand partnerships to contribute fresh ideas.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in sponsorship activation, experiential marketing, event management, brand partnerships, or related fields.
\n
• Demonstrated experience executing sponsorship agreements and managing post-sale deliverables.
\n
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple events, sponsors, and deadlines simultaneously.
\n
• Experience coordinating live events, branded activations, corporate hospitality, or experiential marketing campaigns.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence interacting directly with corporate sponsors, senior stakeholders, and event attendees.
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management platforms such as Monday.com; familiarity with Tessitura is a plus.
\n
• Strong understanding of marketing content, social media deliverables, and co-branded sponsorship materials.
