Location: Houston TX 77030

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm

Starting Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hourly + (based on experience)

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Bilingual  Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a collaborative care management team in a remote setting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support patient care coordination through outreach calls, appointment scheduling, and follow-up communication
• Serve as a primary point of contact for members, providers, and internal staff, resolving inquiries efficiently
• Collect and document patient history, medication reconciliation, and visit details in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Assist with care plan coordination and provide patient education on services and next steps
• Perform administrative duties including managing medical records, scanning documents, and obtaining lab reports or referrals
• Coordinate patient tests, procedures, and specialty appointments as needed
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with state and regulatory guidelines
• Support member engagement initiatives, including encouraging use of patient portals such as MyChart
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program
• Bilingual/English/ Spanish
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
• Current CMA certification through an accredited organization (AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, or equivalent)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, EMR systems, and healthcare workflows
• Previous experience in dermatology or specialty clinic setting preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
