Summary
In our Senior Tax Client Services Specialist role, you will provide administrative and tax support to partners, managers, and staff while taking greater ownership of tax processes and deadlines. You’ll work closely with the tax team to manage complex documents and deliverables, support client service, and help ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.

Essential Functions

• Verify tax returns and related tax documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide experienced administrative support to tax partners, managers, and staff.
• Process and distribute engagement letters, tax returns, estimates, extensions, and organizers.
• Take ownership of file management, project deliverables, and other administrative processes supporting tax deadlines.
• Communicate professionally with clients and firm personnel while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Independently manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing requests with strong attention to detail.
• Serve as a resource to team members and assist with process improvements and special projects.
• Work overtime, including evenings and weekends, during peak tax deadline periods as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 4+ years of related experience.
• 3+ years of administrative support experience; professional services experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Suite.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and proactive with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to learn new software, adapt to changing processes, and support process improvements.
