Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager

Senior Accountant/Assistant Controller

This is a newly created position that will report directly to the Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising accountant for all functions including: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash management
• Assembling timely and accurate financial reporting packages for development projects, operating assets and corporate entities
• Work with other departments (construction/leasing/management) to help integrate the finance team across the organization
• Coordinate and assist in the preparation of all internal and external (partners/lenders) reporting requirements
• Consolidate project invoices by development and package monthly draw requests
• Assist in the gathering/coordination of annual tax filings
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work flow and responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA Preferred
• 2-5 years experience in accounting
• Strong technical, analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in MS Office suite with strong Excel skills
• Details oriented & Self Starter
