This is a Full-Time Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant role. Requires local travel between the following locations: Methuen, North Andover, Peabody, Wakefield, and Norwood. The Dental Assistant provides clinical support to facilitate the relationship between our patients and dentists, increase the efficiency of delivering quality dental care and maintain communication between dentists, patients and administrative staff to ensure a positive patient experience.

Our Specialty team travels to multiple locations. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Chairside assisting
• Taking intra and extra oral photographs
• Proper impression techniques for a variety of orthodontic appliances
• Laboratory work
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
• Maintain orthodontic supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• C.O.A. preferred
• Strong verbal skills
• Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care
