Location: Newington, CT
Pay: $32.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 32 Hours/Week | No Weekends

Anticipated Schedule:
Monday: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Tuesday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Are you someone who takes pride in doing quality work and enjoys creating a great customer experience? We are hiring a Lead Laundry Specialist to join a growing garment care company in Newington, CT.

This is more than a laundry position — it is an opportunity to help build a premium service from the ground up. You will start hands-on processing customer orders while helping establish the standards and processes that will support future growth.

As the company expands, this role will grow into a working team lead/manager position, helping train and guide additional team members while continuing to play an active role in daily operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Process customer orders from start to finish, including sorting, stain treatment, washing, drying, folding, hanging, and quality checks
• Inspect garments carefully to ensure customers receive exceptional results
• Follow detailed processes to maintain consistent, high-quality service
• Help improve workflows and create efficient production systems
• Handle customer belongings with care, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Work closely with company leadership to support growth
• Train and support future team members as the department expands

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone who takes pride in their work and pays attention to details
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
• Reliable, consistent, and comfortable working independently
• Experience in laundry, garment care, hospitality, customer service, or other detail-focused environments is a plus
• Previous team lead or training experience is helpful but not required
• Ability to work in a hands-on, physically active environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move laundry bags weighing approximately 25-30 lbs
• Comfortable standing and walking for most of the workday
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks such as sorting and folding
• Comfortable working in a warm production environment
