Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager
Location: Walla Walla, WA
Work Schedule: Onsite, 5 days per week
Compensation: $120,000–$130,000 base, with potential flexibility based on experience
CornerStone Professional Placement is partnering with an established CPA firm in Walla Walla, WA to hire a Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager. This is an opportunity to join a growing firm with a strong local client base and an established team of tax professionals.
The firm primarily supports privately held businesses and high-net-worth business owners, with a concentration in the wine, agriculture, and hospitality industries.
Responsibilities
- Manage tax engagements for privately held businesses and their owners
- Prepare and review business-focused tax work
- Work directly with clients on tax and accounting needs
- Support and develop junior team members
- Help grow client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice
- Work with clients across wine, agriculture, hospitality, and other small-business industries
Qualifications
- Active CPA required
- Tax experience supporting privately held businesses
- Manager or Senior Manager-level public accounting experience
- Strong technical tax knowledge
- Experience with wineries, agriculture, hospitality, or related industries preferred
- Familiarity with the accounting and bookkeeping needs of these businesses is a plus
- Growth-minded and interested in taking on increasing responsibility
