Horne Mazda of Avondale is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer to join our growing service department.

We're seeking a proven service professional who understands the dealership service process, knows how to build customer relationships, can confidently recommend needed repairs and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers and provide a professional service experience
• Conduct vehicle walkarounds and document customer concerns
• Write accurate and detailed repair orders
• Recommend maintenance and repairs based on vehicle needs
• Clearly explain repair recommendations, pricing and timelines
• Coordinate closely with technicians and the service department
• Monitor repair progress and provide customers with timely updates
• Identify additional service opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach
• Manage appointments, repair orders and customer follow-up
• Review completed repairs with customers and assist with vehicle delivery
• Maintain strong customer satisfaction and productivity standards

What We're Looking For

• Previous Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer experience required
• Dealership service experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of automotive maintenance and repair
• Proven ability to recommend and sell automotive services
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Comfortable using computers, CRM systems and dealership software
• Ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders in a high-volume environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Reliable, motivated and team-oriented
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
